Miss state is usually a favorable matchup for our type of defense. We have more difficulty with ole miss and atm type spread teams. Miss state is more of a poor mans bama and lsu type and typically we have the talent to win out. Turnovers and special teams could hurt us like they did against Georgia. With that said if our defense doesn't improve we can lose any conference game if our offense isn't rolling. An some even if we are. See Georgia.

MSU will be lucky to win a conference game. The wind went out of their sails completely after AU.

LSU has used up its cushion. Every game is a must win now.

I would rather it be used up for UGA instead of an SEC West team. Especially MSU.

LSU is still drained from the UGA loss

Have you ever played on a football team, even at the high school level? Any athlete wants to prove himself after a loss, much less an elite athlete. I think the opposite of what you are saying will be true. This would be the worst week to face LSU....especially now that we are in a position of "can't afford another loss." I'm expecting the best performance of the year.

I have a feeling that Les will have this team playing with fire even after the loss. Don't sell em short, LSU has a damn good football team. They still have Atlanta in their reach and they control their own destiny still. I say LSU by 28 points minimum. Nobody will shut down Mett and those freak receivers.

Your players are down because they know they will lose to Ole Miss, A&M and Alabama. What's one more loss to MSU in the grand scheme of things? Depression is setting in in the LSU locker room. Mett can't get it up. Jeremy Hill doesn't even have the energy to sucker punch people. LETHARGY

LSU fans should be worried about this game. We have not played y'all this far into the season in quite sometime. Usually y'all are a week 2 or 3 game not a week 5 game. I expect this game to be like the ones that we have seen the past few outings in starkville a close game that comes down to the 4th. Whiskey to be had for all can Saturday get here now?

But we whipped y'all's arse last year in week 10 so I think you're a little off on that statement

THe Tigers will reestablish a significant ground game against MSU and Mett will continue to light it up given our receivers! Also, the defense will return to LSU form! It will be a remarkable recovery from heart-breaking UGA loss ...

I'm shocked this gump is trying to move in and live on our couch for free.

nvm that's us, up in his head.

P.S. 18 out of the last 20. Gas was $1.20 last time state beat LSU.
