Committee must have felt charitable.
Rebs can look around and pretend it’s the SEC Title Game. Closest they’ll ever get to it, so they need to take lots of pictures.

Why not? It’s no worse than the “3-time National Champs” or the “2003 SEC West Champs” banners they have there.

Well they've been to the Peach Bowl twice before, winning once and losing once. Penn State will be an interesting matchup and might give viewers a tight game.
Of course I will root for the Rebs, they are fellow SEC and Mississippians.
But I agree that the whole "co-champs" deal is a joke. You won the SEC West if you went to ATL and they never did between 1992-2023.
Ask Arkansas about how being "co-champs" felt in 1998. Meaningless I bet.
