I agree. Bama is big and fast. Michigan is just big. Gonna be a boat race for the Tide.

Michigan is a typical big 10 team. Fat, slow and lumbering.

This game is going to be fascinating.

Michigan has made their bones, all year, stopping the run. Harbaugh is a genius dude, no doubt. When the chips were down, the last few weeks ? Harbaugh simply ran his way through.

'Bama is still, very much, a work in progress. Defensively ? They don't simply "stop" much of anything. But they are efficient on defense. Equal in all areas. Solid.

I expect, early, Michigan to try to line up and just power through. That may or may not work - because Saban will play time and field and not send run blitzes to stop it.

On the other side ? It's all up to Milroe. He's the wild-card. He can break this game for 'Bama, or lose it for 'Bama.

you mean the same way that they boat raced Auburn, or A&M or Arkansas. Bama is just an average team.

Michigans two biggest wins got boat raced by Missouri and Ole Miss.

This isn't a slight at Ole Miss and Missouri both are great, but they hyped the Big Ten once again and Michigan was only slightly better than those two teams.

This will be ugly.

Joe Gibbs won more than one Super Bowl with exactly that recipe. This game is going to be "must watch TV" for the first few minutes.

Styles make fights. This one will be good, at least at first.

They weren't average versus the bayou bengals.

If Bama is average, what does that make LSU? You know, LSU...the team who's Heisman QB quit on them. What was that score?

Alabama has a tendency to play to their competition which is good (UGA, LSU) and bad (Auburn, Arkansas). Nothing is certain with this team.

"Stopped" Georgia pretty well, including 5 3rd and shorts.

Healthy rested Bama d with a month of prep/game planning from Saban is a pretty good combination.

The Transitive Property works in Math. It doesn't work in Gambling. It it did ? It would be a whole lot easier to bet the line and get paid.

Of course, if you were that confident, you wouldn't be talking here. You'd be laying your money and getting paid. The dream of every dude that watches sports and thinks he can pick the winners.

FYI ... the cats that lay on the rail at Horse Races all day ? Same mentality. They think they can beat the house.

nope they actually were and LSU would’ve been up in that arse if it hadn’t been for a dirty hit from a dirty player
