I Think Alabama Will Win The SEC

This seems like our year. I mean we have the greatest cfb coach of all time, plus two former NFL head coaches on our staff. We've got more talent than anyone else in the country.
We should have the best defense in the country.
Our running backs will be dominant as usual.
We have 2 incredible TEs.
We have a dominant OL with multiple first round draft picks.
We have the million dollar man at QB - ice in his veins. He's like a combination of Tua and Jalen Hurts.
Call me crazy, but if I were gonna bet on a team to win the SEC, it would be Alabama

I'll believe it when I see it.
And the fact he is like Tua and Jalen is the bad part. In the 4 years they were starters, Alabama won only 1 national championship.

“Think” and “hope” as used by the op have pretty much the same meaning. But hard cold analysis is a different story. No one ever”wins” the SEC on the strength of their team… because strength is comparative. You need to look closely at all other teams.
Alabama had several big questions on offense that all have to have a positive answer. AND you have to consider A&M, Georgia and possibly Old Miss teams matched up, not to mention the usual predictable upset playing the SEC schedule.
So… QB, OL, TE, WR, and the DC all have to be positives, AND you have to get by three teams that match up well. The chances of all the uncertainties panning out is pretty low.
Maybe a better probability next year…

Unfortunately, I think this will be a growth/development year. I think Bama will be in the mix but I just think this is going to be a transition year.
I could see a loss to UGA. Possibly aTm. A loss in the playoff if only one of the above occurs.
Based on recruiting classes, the next two years should be scary for the rest of college football.

It's not a knock on the Bama front 7, I just think UGA's will be that good. We lost pretty much nobody.
