I think Alabama is #1 next Sunday if they win on Saturday

The committee mulled over the possibility of making Alabama #1 last week and almost made it a fact this week. If Alabama beats Florida and does so convincingly, I have a feeling Alabama will take the top spot from Clemson.

By the way, I think that would be highly unjustified. Just saying.

Just want to be part of the four. We will have to beat Oklahoma either first or in the NC game.

I do too. They very nearly were this week according to Long, as posted in the ranking thread.

If they both won, Clemson would have beaten #10, Bama would've beaten #18.

Clemson stays #1, IMO.

Clemson is playing #10 North Carolina. Alabama's playing #18 Florida who is borderline crumbling. If Clemson wins, they'll be #1.

If Clemson wins they would have 3 wins against Top 10 teams. No way.

Alabama's just praying they jump Clemson. Oklahoma would wreck them just like in the Sugar Bowl.

Iowa/Michigan State will jump Oklahoma anyways.

I think they move Bama to 1 or Oklahoma to 4 to avoid them matching up in the first round in Dallas. Everyone knows they are the 2 best teams, and the committee wants them in the title game.Just my opinion.

Hey, atleast Clemson beat the team they were playing when they committed 3+ turnovers.

Bama, not so much.
