Everyone raising their expectations each summer is part of what makes the season fun. Otherwise, who really cares when an 8-5 type team loses an early game?

I keep hearing about the so-called "Auburn hype train" but most people are predicting them to be just pretty good and go about 9-3 or 10-2. They were just ranked #13 in the preseason Coach's Poll. Aside from some guys on the internet, it seems like most people are predicting them to be a solid team that could be competitive or even beat Alabama, but not to be in the playoffs or anything.
