In high school Henry broke a 52 year old national rushing record. His junior year in college, he broke a 30 year SEC rushing record held by a Heisman winner named Walker. His relief got injured and he put the Bama offense on his back while Coker developed.(I have never seen the play action so effective as when Henry was in. Have you? I doubt it.) He scored at least one touchdown in every game his last year at Bama. He lead the nation in both rushing and yards after contact.Made Sparty's best player his bitch with a stiff arm. I honestly don't know what more one could want from a running back. I guess he didn't catch a lot of passes. He was so good Kiffen would just hand him the ball. Hell, when he fell forward like backs do, he got an extra three yards. He did all of this against SEC defenses not tackling challenged Pac 12. McCaffrey might be used in special teams at Bama, but he would never get a carry from the backfield.

NFL showing has nothing to do with the Heisman. Hell, its not even given to the best player. Most players are eliminated because their team isn't in the NC playoffs.

Most? In all the numerous years we've had a playoff, you mean? Also, I'm pretty sure the Heisman voting is done before the playoff bracket is announced. It's not like they tally the votes at the ceremony.

In any event, can Bama fans just stop replying to these trolls? The whole "Bama bust" thing has gotten beyond tiresome now, and the trolls are just going to keep it up because it's one of the few ways they can get a real reaction when going after Bama in the midst of a historical run. One side or the other needs to let it go, and it's not going to be them.

Replying to Henry's critics is one of the easiest things about being a Bama fan. There is no logical arguement against Henry. He was great in hs, he was great in college, and he will be great in the NFL. So take your impressive degree and your big brain and figure out how to stop the Vanderbilt football from being the doormat of the SEC. I wouldn't give you medical advice, I wouldn't tell a man from Idaho how to grow potatoes. So please don't tell us Bammers how to play football or how to be Alabama fans.

Oh hush. Unless Saban put you on scholarship, you have no advantage regarding football knowledge. It's simply one of the most asinine mindsets one can find amongst college sports fans, and most of your fellow Bama fans are perfectly aware of this. You're a fricking fan. Drop the delusions of grandeur.

As bad as he abused Auburn, I would have guessed you wouldn't be so harsh on him...thanks for the contribution to his Heisman by the way!

Yes, it took a lot of nerve to make a suggestion on a message board. My courage knows no limits and only a few socially-acceptable boundaries. They still sing ballads in rural Opelika and urban Natchez of the time I faced down a rampaging snipe and conquered it with the power of love. And a nail gun, but mostly love. If it hurts your feelings...put on your big boy pants (or Shoney's pants, depending on the region) and get over it. The Bama fans here know me and know I quite like Bama.

I don't talk down to folks. Certainly not to you. After all, you're a very special young slugger and you should be proud of that no matter what anyone else says.

Only in Bama fans minds can saying a rookie will not be the best back in the NFL in 2 years be "harsh"

Feel good about yourself? Does this make you feel better about your awful team? If this is what it takes to get you to sleep on a Saturday night?..fine. More power to you. Excuse me, there is a smoking hot young lady on her way to see me and I must go now. Have fun being annoying. Being an arse. This is why you are alone.(I know you'll deny it, but i know you are, and you know are too.)

I think he'll be the best Bama RB in the league but won't ever crack the top 10. He's got decent, but not great speed and his vision & agility are poopoo.

It was a Vol fan who made the claim in the first place.

It was the mind of a Bama fan that pointed out the irony of an Auburn fan cracking on an rb who the year before had more yards than Auburn as a team in their rivalry game...
