I work with roughly a hundred Tiger alums and hundreds of other fans and I can assure you the vast majority of them or fine with the hire, as am I. Steele has an impressive resume compared to some of the other applicants. For all the BS flowing out of Clemson, his 2012 Defense pretty much shut down LSU in the second half of the Chicken Sandwich Bowl. I've a notion he'll do just fine.

Well said. Talent wins games not coaching. It's not the splash we expected but if he's motivated to go grab 4 and 5 star players, then we will be fine.

Hiring coordinators is one big crap shoot. Not sure why people are ready to jump off a cliff without the guy ever setting foot in Tiger Stadium. Let's see what we can do with what should be a talented secondary and a front-4 that can't possibly be any worse. Maybe now we can get a pass rush.
