I only read these 3... and I dislike the OP for trying to turn the SEC Rant into the intersection of Hate and Ashbury.

The good thing I can say about Arkansas is that my daughter briefly considered transferring there from La Tech, contingent on my demand that she wear a hog hat any time she set foot back in Mississippi. So you have that going for you.

I didn't see a single nice thing about Arkansas so you can screw yourself.

I like all of you.
To mix things up from the general berating we give each other on here, I have decided to say one nice thing about each school.

Alabama - You are a great football program and are an example that the rest of the football programs in college football can strive towards.

Auburn - You have one of the coolest traditions in letting a freaking eagle fly around your stadium. Doesn't get much frattier than that.

LSU - Your fans are the most fun to party with, and also make by-far the most delicious tailgating food.

Ole Miss - You have some very attractive women that actively strive to be the hottest and help keep the rest of the schools' women in check.

Mississippi State - You have a great agriculture school and one of my best friends who is a farmer in southern Arkansas went to your school and he is freaking awesome and can chug 8+ beers out of a gas container at one time.

Texas A&M - You have a great engineering school and, having worked with a lot of your Alumni, know that most are down-to-earth but still a blast to party with on the weekends.

Tennessee - Haven't hung out with many of you but I remember after the '07 game I met up with a few of your fans and they were a lot of fun, and we actually went out and played around of golf the next morning with 2 of them, and they were really good at golf.

Georgia - Mark Richt has a phenomenal tan and, as a man of Irish descent myself, gives me something to strive towards.

South Carolina - I've enjoyed having you as the team from the east that was have played yearly over the last few years. The games are always fun and the fans I meet are down to earth.

Vanderbilt - You help carry the rest of the SEC in academics, and I am a huge fan of James Franklin and think he will make you into a successful program.

Kentucky - Your basketball program is the best in the SEC, and many seasons helped to keep the SEC on the map in what would otherwise be a pretty horrible season overall for the conference.

Florida - Probably the "best" all around athletic school in terms of all sports and also a good school academically as well.

Missouri - You are our closest neighbor now and for that we sort have already formed a bond and I foresee us creating a combo basketball/football rivalry unmatched in the SEC in a few years.

IMHO you did well OP, except for just a few things ... well, one really.

That stuff about Mizzou - that was pretty gay. If you are expecting to have a good football rivalry with Mizzou, then you are not setting your standards very high. Basketball, yeah, maybe. But the rivalry will never be "unmatched in the SEC." There will always be a half dozen, or more, rivalries in the SEC that are better. Y'all have only played one another five times total in football, and two of those were bowl games. They are just not "SEC or Southern rivalry" material.

You know, this can be said as much as anyone wants to say it. However, the SEC is a mix of good teams of likeminded people that play each other in sports. The longer you frickers try to pretend we're not SEC, the longer this type of shite will live.

Mizzou will get better in football, we're already middle of the road, and the SEC affiliation will help that, like it helped the Cocks.

The thing behind a rivalry is passion, and while I think it will take a while, there's plenty of it to go around when it comes to Arky/Mizzou. What you see on the rant is an amplified version of the real world, but it does exist.

This will become a decent rivalry, and frick everyone that says it's not an SEC rivalry when it does.
