He would have been fine if he didn't piledrive himself into the ground. It was the pratfall that caused his injury. Bama fans mistake the intention with the result that was caused by Kirkpatrick's theatrics. Football field is a dangerous place. Even more reason not to purposefully drive your head in the ground.

Getting hit in the head from behind is not a flop.

But feces occurs on the football field. I hope the guy does well and it sounds to me like he has learned a hard lesson and is taking advantage of another chance. Good for him.
