Oh they realize it, they just pretend that every team in the country gets lucky breaks like that every year.

Auburn hasn't had back to back 10 win seasons since 1988 & 1989.

That was also the only time in HISTORY Auburn ever had back to back 10 win seasons.

Well that's pretty telling, looks like they always underperform when expectations are high. Having the 1s play the 2s in the spring game today will also inflate expectations to unattainable levels.

It simply means don't get ahead of yourself expectation wise.

If Auburn nation is really in "national title or the season is a failure" mode, this season is not going to be very fun.

I'm not in that mode. Our schedule is brutal. We have a better team than we did last season, barring injuries to major players.

Umm, why? And every season is like that for me. Until you lose 2 games (unless you're LSU), there's still a chance. The key is to adjust and not lose your shite when shite happens. So why the shite do you think our season isn't going to meet expectations?

Of course I am in that mode. Are you stupid or something? I expect that from my team every year. Now run along and hope your team finds an O Line to protect your new QB.

They beat up on Bama's first string too.

Bama managed what on their first string with their offense? 13 or 17?

It wouldn't have mattered who they went against. The top 2 scoring defenses in the nation couldn't hold them below 30 so. Whether you play 1s vs 1s or 2s someone is going to lose. If they would have played 1s vs 1s like Bama the second team would have just scored more and Marshall would have stayed in past half time. The points would have just been shifted differently.

But Auburn's offense would have upstaged Bama's any day so I don't see why you think thats why they did it. Maybe Bama did what they did so no one would see how bad their second string offense and Lines are.

Not sure what you're "Ok"'ing but plenty of teams run 1s vs 2s and its not to upstage Bama. If Auburn did run like Bama and the 1st offense scored less and the second scored more, Bama and Arky fans would be on here claiming the offense sucks and the backups on defense does too. There is nothing that could have happened that would have not had haters on here saying they either sucked or didn't match them up right.

Bama and Arky fans aren't claiming shite.

You're killing me bro Beat up on them third stringers.

I watched maybe five minutes of the Auburn spring game, and the passing touchdown I saw, the dude was wide open, with no one around.

"You're killing me bro Beat up on them third stringers." Yeah, they are not. We have already gotten that Auburn was just lucky and won't win this year because history on this page alone.

Our 1st didn't play the 3rd string but nice try. Giving up 30 points to bama offenses with no QB is embarrassing. I have even seen a lot Bama fans complain about how bad the offense was and they still scored that much on the 1st and backups.

Dudes were wide open against Bama and FSU. The offense gets players open and if they were getting open on them they are going to get open on our defense too.

And your Defense played one of the worst Olines and QBs they will face all year. It works both ways no matter how you try to spin it.
