North Carolina W (no offense, defense will eventually break)
@Vanderbilt W
Mississippi State W (QB with no experience)
West Virginia W
Tennessee W
@Florida W (DE play is the key. No pressure. Long year)
McNeese St. W
@Auburn W (Where's the D?)
Alabama W/L Toss-up (RefGate...best combo of bend/don't break offense)
UL-Monroe W
Ole Miss W/L Toss-up (Nutt always shocks someone. Too bad he doesn't shock everyone)
@Arkansas W (Defense doesn't scare anyone at all. Mallet will make mistakes. All gunslingers do. Plus, it's a contract year for him)
10-2/ 12-0 much like the 2008 Alabama squad being that not much is expected but they come out & just physically beat teams. Let's not forget, Alabama has had the ball (and Refs) bounce their way the last two years. Not trying to stir the pot but I have no idea why Auburn with the limitations on defense seem to think they are in the upper echelon of the SEC. I think your team will be good but you are a few defensive players away from being really scary.
The LSU defense will be ridiculously fast at all levels. I kind of see the old Jimmy Johnson Miami defense where the LB's were small but seemed to be everywhere. I really think of it as a 4-2-5 defense with Francois in the lineup. The secondary will be scary if Mo Claiborne lives up to expectations and Loston decides to earn his keep. All JJ has too is to trust his ability and play within himself and the team will be okay.
The only games I'm truly worried about is Alabama and Ole Miss (both primarily running teams). I think Florida may be a couple of defensive ends to really be something special. I really like Brantley as a QB but the wideouts don't scare anyone.

Anything remotely close to that would cost Les his job.

So I say 7-5, but I honestly think they could drop another SEC game in there against Ole Miss, Tennessee, or even Miss State. I don't see a real high ceiling either. I don't see them getting to 9 wins.
This is going to make for a very interesting 2011 season for Miles and compnay, unless the decision is made to cut ties after this year.
This will not be interesting. 8-4 however.........

I fimly believe that Les and Richt will be fired after this season... Kirby Smart to UGA.... Boom to LSU...

Not happening. I can't speak for Miles, but Richt will not be fired this year. Barring a 4-8 type year.

Depends on who is calling plays. If it's the same hybrid Miles/Crowton offense they ran last year 7-5. If Miles takes over the play calling and gameplan 9-3. If Crowton is left alone to run the offense without any meddling by Miles 10-2 or 11-1.
