WAAHHHH!!! Quit crying about the dang Cowbells. You dont hear the Yankees or Red Sox bitching when the Rays ring them in MLB do you?
If you are good enough (which most have been lately) then the cowbells shouldnt bother you. Our 55,000 with cowbells is equal to the Swamp or LSU or Tennessee with all of you 90,000. Are you guys supposed to only yell before game and during timeouts??
So you're saying its like giving MSU a handicap?

If Saban makes a big deal of it, consider the bells gone.

nice. your cool. you must be on Momma's computer. I had and have had mostly great interaction with AU fans and I would rank them at the top of all the fans in SEC Ive met. But you dont belong in that class with them. You belong in a room watching beavis and butthead smoking a bong and amounting to nothing your whole life.

Dude would you please tell me what the difference is between 55k fans(12K ringing cowbells) and 94,000+ fans at LSU, UT, or Bama? I get so tired of this whining. There is no difference get over it.

Well for one they have that many people. Again if you want to call this a handicapping system for state, then say it. But becuase a stadium is smaller should not mean that they are given an exception to the no artifical noise makers rule. Bama is bigger than auburn, should auburn get to do something to make the sound equal between BDS and JH?

I agree. 15 yard penalty will do the trick everytime.
No it wouldn't. They've tried to enforce it before with this. I think it was maybe the Kentucky game back in '01 which was teh week after State played LSU and jackie said bring em and ring em.

If I'm not mistaken, the allowing of cowbells is a one year trial. In exchange for being able to legally bring the artificial noisemakers into a stadium during an SEC game, they were not to be rung during plays. This was a giant fail last night, and MSU fans broke their side of the bargain.
The new rule was approved by the athletic directors of the SEC, with Auburn's J. Jacobs voting in favor of allowing the bells. The rule change was an act of goodwill toward MSU by the other member schools and I'm sure everyone was hoping that in return the MSU fans would "ring responsibly" and show good sportsmanship. Obviously they gave MSU fans to much credit. What these athletic director's did this year can be taken away next year. I look to see the refs throwing flags for this behavior in 2011 and beyond.

No one is saying you can't build a bigger stadium. And what are you going to allow Ole Miss and Vandy fans to bring in to make more noise?

We didnt get in trouble, spurrier just bitched about it and the SEC saent out a memo.
Let state have their bells, its notlike its brandnew to a game with tohem. We just have an influx of people being pansies about it because they can hide behind teh negative attention cast 0on it.
Kinda like that episode of south park where cartman tries to take family guy off the air.

If you guys hadn't whined for years about how unfair it was for MSU to abide by the same rules regarding crowd noise that all the other SEC schools do, you would not have been indulged with the one year trial this year. It's pitiful that your school went before the SEC and begged for "affirmative action." Vandy doesn't whine, they are content to play by the same rules as the big boys and still have their pride and dignity intact.

If other schools aren't allowed to use artificial noisemakers to that extent, then MSU shouldn't be an exception just because they've done it so long.
