...ALL the fans of LSU, Ole Miss, Arbarn, and so on and so forth who find themselves treading water in Arkansas bloody wake. I knew and (like many hog fans )predicted that this would come down to Arkansas and Bama. And I could write a book on heartache. Lord knows I could. A long sad book with a blood red cover and no pictures. It would have a chapter about bobby and john L. And houston Dale. But this aint my book, its about yours. And your sorrow after the Hogs and bama delivered the Holly Holmes to your school / state and caused each fanbase to abandon their teams. Pour out your heartache. Uncle Jack is here to help and heal.

Yes Jon Ham and I predicted it would if you all recall. Hogs and Bama for all the marbles. To well oiled killing machines. Conference powerhouses with LOYAL fanbases. The kind of fans that would light themseves up for their team. But this thread isnt about the Hogs greatness or Bamas greatness, or fans throwing in the towel before a game started. Les Miles and the Tigers played an away game last Saturday night. Instead of a parking lot chock full of flatbeds and fourwheel drives with mangy, tick infested but loyal dogs waiting patiently on their drunken owners while keeping watch from the beds of said trucks, we got and empty parking lot from 3rd quarter on. Those people are Exactly who I want to help.

I hate to tell you this but you're not as interesting as you used to be. I'm still a huge fan, but this thread is really disappointing.
It's almost like you have allowed someone else to post under the name Pondwater Jack.

Im not trying to be impressive. Im trying to pay it forward. Like the movie. Ive been there. Hell I LIVED there. For years. Remember Houston Nutt? John L? There is a a way to cope with this. I know the way. I can helpall of you and will. If youll let me. For starters I think weak LSU is bad for the conference. Miles looked confused the other night. It was probably just a bad night. But looking confused on national TV costs. (Remember Nutt chewing his nails....Thats bad for all of us. Seriously) I think if hes gonna look confused then hes gotta pull his hat down lower or wear a hooded mask like when its cold. LSU should inspite fear not doubt. Thats DEATH VALLEY. Same for Freeze. Holding up victory sign. You gotta know when the game is over. This aint baseball where you assume ball 4 and start trotting down the base line. As a conference we gotta come together.

We could just as accurately say that the winner of Bama/Middle Tennessee was the winner of the West.

I assume the lover your talking about is Les Miles. Im sure he strokes the Tiger faithful with a gentle, patient hand. But he looked like he just woke up saturday night and realized he was getting a good rodgering on national tv. I have no problem with Arkansas winning the game. But it needed to be closer and they need to cover his face with a ski mask and some sunglasses. (Hell, that could be used as a marketing tool = mad hatter mask!) You cant look surprized! Have any of you ever seen Nick with his eyes opened and mouth in the shape of an O? 1 time?! Well I can tell you did not pay a lick of attention in your educational rehabilitation coursework. Hopefully the soap shop and metal work classes are what got you early release.
That being said, dayum glad you made it back.
Do not go by the liquor store, pawn shop, or the casinos.
