This version of LSU is great team. I was very impressed with you guys pushing the ball down field and mixing up the play calling against Ole Miss. LF7 is a savage, best RB in the nation....period. It's shaping up to be one of those "game of inches" smash mouth contest vs Bama. Going to be epic. Any way wanted to say that before all the trolls from both parties and other irrelevant fan bases spam DA Rant for the next 13 days.

It's going to be a fun matchup.

Kiffen does a great job of identifying mismatches and making easy reads for his QB. Let's see if Aranda can earn his money. Should be a fun game.

It's not even the offense that needs to be paid attention to or concerned about at all.

Alabama will be playing a defense with a true freshman QB that they haven seen yet and I think will give him fits and I think that's a serious concern for Alabama.

Now if LSU can find a way to score on Alabama, then I'd predict an LSU win. But I'm not sure Etling has a good enough arm to do so.

It will be a very good matchup.

Bamas young quarterback and an at times struggling offense against an LSU defense that has just gotten better as the season rolls along.

Other side you have an NFL front 7 versus a line that's starting to gel with NFL talent and the best RB in the nation.

Also an improving LSU passing game against a weaker Bama secondary.

This game should definitely be interesting.

That was the best LSU has looked in a few years. They are playing with intensity and hustle. Everything seems to be faster. They look like they want to be out there and havent seen that in a while. Same with Auburn.

Conversely, Arkie has played this season like LSU looked the last half of last year. Sometimes you just need some fresh air. Change of practice schedule, etc.

If LSU can't run the ball then it's game over plain and simple. Our Oline better come to play as well

Well, most of the sane tiger fans realize this LSU squad is going to have to play better than last night to beat Alabama.

Lsu has to play a mistake free game. Any turnovers and bama will win. Should be a good game.

With all the offensive firepower we have seen the defenses in this game will win it. Could it be another 9-6 ish type game??

Last night Ole Miss only had like 34 yrd offense in second half up until last garbage yard drive and no second half points. We have all seen Bama's D but LSU has been sneaking up on the CFB world in this category.

I am sure there will be a ton of trash talking threads in next few wks but I wont be one of them.

You're right. And Alabama's defense is not going to have those open gaps like Ole Miss. You could drive a truck through them.

Exactly. The game shouldn't have been as close as it was last night. We gifted them a score before halftime and then gave it right back to em after that pick in the 3rd.

agree Smoke from Bama

no fun trash talking from me - Bama is a great team and I don't have a clue if Lsu can win but I assure you this staff will have this team ready to beat Bama

you guys have won 5 in a row so it is on Lsu to step up

CEO is a class coach with a class staff and Saban loves his guys and rides them hard - Saban still has a love in him about his days at Lsu and Lsu should have a love in them for Nick for what he did at Lsu !!!

War - it's going to be WAR

I liked that we had a warmup for the read option/ running QB. Should help us get a feel for hurts early in the game hopefully.

I'm so ready to call for a ban bet but, this Bama team is too good right now to doubt anything they could possibly be capable of
