I always wondered if Aggie fans regretted this. It seems they got a little too excited and bit off more than they could chew. Maybe a more achievable rivalry in state or Arkansas would have been more appropriate.

Uh, we have a longstanding rivalry with them that pre-dates the whole SEC move. That is why we play them at a neutral site for over a decade. We can't move that game to December, because Jerry Jones said so.

I have friends who are A&M fans that hold a huge space of my heart. There are some A&M fans I love, and some I absolutely hate on here. Overall though, they're alright. They underachieve in a lot of sports, but they're decent people.
