I don't think we're talking about Ole Miss enough

This was the year. The stars were aligned for the University of Mississippi football team. Last year they had a great team and in case we didn't notice- they returned most of everyone. They rolled into T-town and roasted the Tide and the REC. There was no stopping them. Then they tripped and fell on the road against UF. Who apparently seems pretty good now. I don't think top 10 good, but nonetheless, good. Following that they scrape by VANDY. Ok they were down from the UF game.. Then the Memphis bludgeoning. What in the hell is going on.. Don't give me this WAOM crap. Someone give me a logical explanation.

We're not as good as we thought.
We'll be lucky if we can make it competitive against A&M in the 1st half.

If you are referring to the MSU skid at the end of last season. I think it's fair to say not having a defensive coordinator made state a little less competitive against OM and GT
