All the NCAA has to do is interview whomever told Joe Schad that Cam said "the money was too much"

Why would it matter if Cam knew or not?

AU paid for Cam, and he knows his dad shopped him.

"The money was too much." Wait for the NCAA to finally interview the person who went to the media with that info. AU bought Cam...which is a good investment in the short-term...but long-term...not so much.

Don't get me wrong. I think Cam knew all along, and is lying his arse off about it. And I hope karma gets him if he did know.

AU has always been the most corrupt program in the SEC, this is no surprise. They should just put an * on every diploma from there.

It doesn't ! NCAA opened a huge can of worms today! Now anyone can shop their kid
And get paid.

Don't you think it would be unfair to him if he really had no knowledge at all, and a rogue relative tried to score some cash on his back? I know, it's really hard to swallow that the rogue is dad, but that is what dad has apparently testified to. And Cam. And it would truly suck for Auburn if they weren't involved at all, wouldn't it. Or for LSU, or Bama, or whatever school.

Sorry, if the rogue relative is the dad you have to act. Maybe if dad has not been around and participated in the players upbringing I could see that as an excuse but no matter how unfair it seems you can not open that can of worms.......Wait, they have haven't they?

what the frick does an LOI have to do with anything?.... did bama get an LOI on Marcel Dareu's extra benefits?.... no... but the NCAA still rulled on his eligibility (never mind the shady arse way the plane ride/payment went down).

Marcel sat for 2 weeks. AJ Greene sat for 5 weeks. Cam Newton sat for 1 day, a day that a football game wasn't even played.

Might have received improper benefits

Why is this difficult to understand?

It doesn't matter that he didn't know. His dad got paid, and his dad chooses what school he goes to. This will open a shitload of recruiting practices with kids letting their dads shop them "without them knowing".

Pathetic. I've been tired of this shite from the get-go. I hope Cam is clean and stays that way.

War Eagle, win the fricking championship.
