LSU delusion on point today.....two more weeks of this shite

It's that time of the year again. It's like Christmas is coming, but then we wake up on Christmas Day and we're told that Santa is not real and we have no toys while we see the kid across the street laughing and riding the new bike that we wanted.

LSU has better defensive numbers because they have been playing horrible offenses.

Florida, Miss St and Auburn all have awful offenses

And this post shows you are a Bama homer. Not that there is anything wrong with Being a Homer. UGA has the best Radio Announcer in the history of CFB, Larry Munson (IMO) and he was also the greatest Homer of all time (IMO). But objectively, Florida and Auburn are both better offenses than any of the 5 SEC teams Bama has played. Texas A&M has the potential to be a very good offense, I would say that is the best offense Bama has played, but as of now, they have not been able to run the ball effectively enough against better defenses, which limits what Jimbo likes to do, which is run lots of play action and boot off play action. Now Bama may at home put up numbers against LSU, but LSU's defense has some legit NFL talent on it that is finally the last 3 games been on the field together all at the same time. So if Bama puts up 30+ on LSU in 2 weeks, they would have earned it, LSU has talent on defense.

LSU's total defense is at 24 (315.4 per game), Bama at 19 at 307.5. Scoring Defense, Bama is 10th at 15.3, LSU at 22 at 20 per game. Now, I am going to adjust LSU's scoring defense by the fumble in the end zone vs. Vandy and Pick 6 by Backup QB Brennan in same game, the scoring D for LSU is right at 18. So LSU's defense is very good, just not the elite numbers that they have put up in the past.

Delusional. LSU could win, but they could also lose to Bama with a backup QB. Their defense isn't really dominant or anything

Shhhhh. Grown ups are talking. Go start another moratorium and don't come back until your coach can justify 75mil

I can appreciate the confidence but it’s gonna be a close game. Sheesh.

Man I hate brag threads before the game is even played.
Just because of history and momentum Bama is favored to win here.
Teams are probably pretty close to even on offense

Come on dude. You haven’t watched any games.

If anybody limped to victory it was us against Auburn at home.

Alabama hadn't played anyone last year either while LSU was battle tested...what happened? 29-0 in BR.

LSU beat Texas by 7. The same Texas that got beat by TCU and almost lost to Kansas. Wow.

Florida is not an elite team and they went blow for blow with LSU. Turnovers on the goal line made the difference. Impressive.

Auburn? You barely beat Auburn at home?

34-18 Bama

Why do so many fans embarrass us? I love my team, and we are much better off than in prior years, but we have about a 30% shot to win.

I’ll take it, but won’t be starting threads saying we have no shot of losing, especially after losing for almost a straight decade.

It is identical the last 8 years. 0-4 in both places.

Don’t believe i’ve ever heard of a 20+pt victory be referred to as limping to

> lopsided officiated

Oh. There it is. The same LSU talking point we’ve heard since the dawn of college football in Baton Rouge.

True. After the 2011 game, the series was tied 9-9 in Tuscaloosa.

Since then it is 13-9 in favor of Alabama in Tuscaloosa.
29-9-2 in favor of Alabama in Death Valley.

There was a stretch in the 80s where the home team always seemed to lose. From 1981 to 1989 the home team was 0-8-1 in the series.

I think bama coaches/plays their best game of the year and the 2 teams are essentially equal. Lsu gets 1 more stop than bama. 24-23 lsu or 27-26. 30-29. Something like that.
