Dislike? What a pussy move. Us UT fans would prefer that you hate CBJ. But he will make you respect him. But let me guess, you were in love with Dooley.

How was it subtle? Seems pretty obvious.

You haven't seen Florida without Muschamp since you've been in the SEC.

Johnny Majors is a coach that I really liked. The job he did at Iowa State and Pitt was remarkable. His treatment by Tennessee turned me off toward the vols.

There are 2 sides to that story. I love Johnny Majors, but at that time, he was a raging alcoholic who treated his players and coaches like shite.

Half the team was threatening to quit, it was that bad.

Johnny is one of my all-time favorite players and coaches, and I think he would have won a couple championships at Tennessee had he stayed, but it wasn't meant to be.

They haven't seen the SEC East at their norm since the zoo has been here. Christ, UT has sucked ugly balls for the past 10 years. UF has sucked the same ugly balls for the past few. Even Vandy had a 9 win season. That's how bad it's been. Zoo will soon find their spot battling UK for 3rd from the bottom.

Exactly. Once Spurrier leaves, South Carolina, Kentucky, and Vandy will all be back down as perennial bottom dwellers. Missouri is going to take their place at fourth in the East every year, and Florida, Tennessee and UGA are going to battle for the East. Just like things were always meant to be.

^This. The team outright said they wouldn't play for him.

Johnny's a lot better now and back in Knoxville and around the university a lot but at that time he had a problem. And knowing what happened to his brother, I can understand why he turned to drinking (Johnny had a lot of tragedy in his life) but he let it get out of hand.

Well bully for you! Any other coaches you dislike? You should start a thread on those too. Inquiring minds want to know.
