Alabama fan Walker Hayes, (he of "Fancy Like Applebees" fame) gave Nick Saban a shoutout in his appropriately titled song "AA."

Of course, Saban then had to meet this singing Gump.

This should definitely be the Alabama fan anthem.

quote:

Alright
Coffee cup, cold and black
Wish it had a little shot of Jack
Besides that, can't complain
Just tryna do the dang thing
Might change the oil in my truck
I ain't paying no thirty-five bucks
Kids need shoes, mama needs Levi's

And I'm just tryna keep my daughters off the pole
And my sons out of jail
Tryna get to church so I don't go to hell
I'm just tryna keep my wife from figuring out
That I married up and she married way, way down
In Alabama where they love Nick Saban
Tryna write a song the local country station'll play
Hey, I'm just tryna stay out of AA

That's so dumb that it'll be the number one song in America before long.

Anyone who listens to this garbage is personally responsible for the accelerated decline of humans as we know it. Stop.

Your last three threads are “ I didn't realize Nick Saban got a shoutout in a fake country song”, “ TIL that the moon landing was only possible because of 'local Alabama talent“, and “Did Jimbo guarantee a 2023 victory over Alabama last night?”.

How much money do you send to Tuscaloosa, AL and the University of Alabama for rent in your head?

ETA: 6 of last 10, “ Here is the running list of noted Bammer gamblers”, “Since Bama is already in shambles, let's look at unit efficiency rankings”, and “Brian Kelly says he loves beating Alabama“,

This song is old! It’s been out well over a year now. No one cares about an Alabama native signing about his time being a drunk that caused him to go to rehab. But good on you finally catching up with the rest of the world.

Hear this often while on the water. Big with the Trump boat crowd. In the mid Atlantic, at least.

Dude, this is the LSU mindset. There is ONE game on their schedule and they know who that is. They got ripped by UT and lost to a horrible A&M squad but....its ok, we beat Bama and thats all that matters. They keep this "we're on an upward trajectory", yea, by getting their doors blown off and blown off by one BAD team. Where was the outrage after an humiliating loss to Aggie? Those losses, That doesn't sound upward to me, that sounds like typical Brian Kelly.

UT is just as bad. They get buttholed by UGA and even worse by ....south carolina....but its all good. No, i wouldn't say that. Yes, you beat a down Bama team but got smoked out of the stadium by an also ran and beaten by a UGA team that you didn't even need to be on the same field with.
All Bama, all the time.

Weird melt considering Saban lost 6 games his first year at Bama including one to ULM.
