With the team he had that year it was a very poor coaching job, arguably one of his worst in BR, to lose two games.

It was abysmal. It's not that big of a stretch to believe that there are some posters here (with football experience coaching/playing) who could've at least matched Les' efforts that year.

Well, LSU did face 9 bowl teams on that schedule. They started off by demolishing two bowl teams (one of them being VT who was #9 and ended up in the top 10 in the final poll). They beat 5 teams in the final top 15. That's strong. As someone mentioned, LSU beat Tennessee in the SECCG with the backup QB due to Flynn being unable to play. Dorsey was also out for most of that game as well.
UK had about their best season ever, so that loss in triple OT on the road wasn't that big of a deal. They had already knocked off a top-10 team when they played us and had been ranked in the top 10 at one point. Plus, LSU teams have had an issue with falling asleep against UK teams at UK at times.
The Arkansas loss in triple OT at home was inexcusable. But other than that, they took care of business.
Anyway, with all that said, I wouldn't gone 14-0. I'm undefeated every year though so it's not fair to compare others to me.

1 loss in the regular season to OU, lost again to OU in the Big12 CG. I don't really care about BCS bowls, because they rarely had the best teams in them, just shitty teams from shitty conferences.
The only thing I'm sore about from 2007 is we should have beaten OU in Norman.
