I am thankful for the change that Kiffin implemented with our offense; his play calling started to regress over the season. For that, he was a liability, because evidently, he stopped giving a frick. It shows that he hasn't grown up being under Saban. Is it the right move? I have no clue. We can all speculate but we won't know for sure for a week.

It's going to be a good melt when he destroys everything Kiffin has created there.

And a better melt when he wins a National Championship after being OC for a week.

Honestly don't even know what was wrong with the Washington game. All I heard from Bama fans is "run the damn ball lane" then Bo has a breakout game against a decent defense and now Kiffin called "a piss poor game" he just did what everyone told him to do and won while doing it

I think that would just prove that Lane didn't need to be hired in the first place, as clearly any half drunk OC with a week to prep can win with Bama talent

I don't understand what you're getting at. Who said he needed to be hired? He was who Saban decided on and it worked out pretty nicely. He's not focused on the task at hand now and Saban felt it was best he make a change.

I'm saying Saban should have never hired Kiffin as the man is a cancer and drama follows him everywhere

I'm sure you know better than Saban, but it appears it worked out pretty well.

I was thinking exactly the same thing. He was not given the early exodus for any playcalling in the Washington game. CNS wanted them to have a balanced attack and to throw the ball more effectively. Perhaps the execution wasn't what CNS wanted but Kiffin wasn't working outside of the game plan.

I'd like to think an intelligent man like Saban would look back and wish he'd have went another direction from the beginning

It feels like you're trying to find a way to spin the Kiffin era as a failure for Saban. It's weird.

I haven't seen you this invested in something pertaining to Bama since the whole Saban to Texas fiasco on the coaching changes board.

I don't have to spin anything. Lane was successful due to Bama, not the other way around.

Just accept that compliment Mike

Maybe. But no other Saban hired OC has won 3 SEC championships in a row at Bama.

Bama as a whole is hitting their stride, oddly enough.

Lane was great for the first couple of years. This year his play calling went wonky. He was done after this year and he knew it.

Saban and the Bama team can win this game without a OC

Or your offensive players just arent that much better than UW defensive players.
