I am confident about Georgia for the first time since...

...halfway through the 1st quarter of the infamous "blackout game" vs Bama
I was at that game, drove in from Bham with a buddy that is a Bama fan (was also at th Bama game in '07 when we won on a nice pass in OT)
I came into '08 believing we were good and had turned a corner
I have truthfully not had great confidence in the Dawgs since then
This season? I went to South Bend hopeful, but not confident (felt like we were gonna lose most of the game)
After Notre Dame, I was confident we would beat State, but did not expect that kind of a beatdown
Definitely felt we would beat Tennessee, but again, did not expect th total domination we actually saw
I am 100% on board now. I think we may be looking at a special season & even think we can hang with Bama
And yes, I am expecting to see us in Atlanta as East champs
Feels good, going into every game expecting to see us do well and win.

Good defense gives you confidence.
Can the offense produce against a top level defense? They were fine against MSU and UT, but what about UF and Auburn?

This team is elite on defense. If we meet Bama in Atlanta I don't see us winning solely because our offensive line is a year away.
We look different, we feel different, but I refuse to make any reservations until Jacksonville. We could beat everyone 70-0 until late October and I'd still feel the same way. We've shite the bed so much against Florida I just cannot make expectations about this team until we play them.
Our schedule is a Cake walk until Florida and Auburn, so we really won't know a lot until then. Unless we shite the bed before those two, of course.
