Me too in reverse. Les Miles is like a fun and kooky uncle that you really look forward to seeing every year at Thanksgiving. He's the one that has made lots and lots of money so you know he must be really smart even though you hear your other loser uncle make fun of him the whole time.

I have always liked and respected LSU as well. No better away game atmosphere either, look forward to Baton Rouge every time I make the trip.

I don't hate Bama as some LSU fans do, but I am certainly not pulling for them in anything except the NCG, only to preserve SEC dominance.

It's hard not to like Bama. The style of football they play is fun to watch, and really it mirrors LSU's style exactly- with Bama obviously playing much better in the passing game lately. They play disciplined, and even if they do have some TPOS players- they sure as hell don't play like it on the field.
The only things not to like is:
1. The arrogant fans who take entitlement to a whole 'nother level. Some, not all.
2. The fact that 1/9/12 spoiled the potential for LSU to have one of the greatest CFB seasons of all time.
It really is a shame for LSU and Bama fans alike that the other team has been so good also for the past few years. But it makes for a great rivalry in the meantime
