this season, would LSU approach Les Miles, again, and offer him his old job?

I say "again" only b/c he was pretty much out the door until LSU found out there wasn't anyone better willing to take the job. Then LSU had to STTD to keep him.

Last day before football and this gem was dropped in our laps. Yeah, I'm having a bit of fun with it. It makes me wonder what's gonna happen when LSU loses on Saturday? Will the LSU fanbase fall off a cliff as per normal when things like this happen? Will they fire Ed O for losing to an inferior team? Common sense would say no, but then I remember that they fired the winningest coach in their history 4 weeks into the season last year and hired a high-functioning retard to take his place. So I wouldn't put it past them.

You seriously think LSU is gonna lose to BYU? BYU man. We aren't Arkansas.

I can /thread this right now.

Ms St loss is because Fitz is the greatest QB in SEC history. Truly a special player.

Bama loss is because Bama cheats.

Refs gave Auburn the game. Alleva has already filed motions with the SEC, but it's in Birmingham so it won't matter.

AnM was due to win one at least once a decade.

Arky's QB is underrated, and it will just take some time for LSU to rebuild what Les was falling off on with the defense.

Florida has had a couple years to rebuild with McElwain and in a couple years Coach O will have followed the same model and have us contending for the West.

Coach O is a great coach and it is going to take a couple seasons to rebuild and the SECW is such a harsh place to rebuild a program.

I do have to wonder, and it's only hypothetical, but if O were to struggle, how short is his leash given his track record? If he went 7-5 this year, would they pull the plug? Would the PTB get nervous and amp up the heat for 2018? Regardless of what anyone says, this was a bit of a gamble so if it looks like it's starting to go south, how long does he get to correct things?
