If you were a high school recruit and had an offer from every school in the SEC except for your school, where would you choose to go? For me it would probably be UGA, pretty girls, pretty campus, fun town, and a history of putting players in the league.

History is a good descriptor for the Georgia football program going forward

SEC - Texas A&M. A very solid education. Great facilities. Nice stadium. College station is meh but being a football player at a school of 50,000 has to be rockstar status. I think A&M has a very positive outlook and I'd want to be a part of that.

OOC - UCLA or Michigan. UCLA, great school. Tradition and Los Angeles. Michigan, great school, huge football tradition and Ann Arbor (my favorite college town).

You realize we started this myth to keep the undesirables out of our town?

Need to throw in "good education" so that you dont come off like you would send your kids to TSUN

not a myth. Been there. It's not terrible or anything.

And the undesirables have no trouble getting into Texas or CS

CS has come a long way since I was a atudent. 30 years ago, it was definitely a shite hole, but the town has not done enough to shake that reputation.

LSU would be first on my list. I really like Les Miles and he's someone I could see myself wanting to play for.

Georgia would be the other

If my son had an offer from Ole Miss I'd probably try to get him to go to LSU or Georgia. Les and Richt are very genuine coaches (not that Freeze isn't) who really care about their players. Plus he would have a better chance at winning a national title at those schools.
