Been involved in it for years. Friends with these guys that y'all have said is "impossible" to get.

I have had several of them tell me that if UGA (or any other attractive sec school) started a program, all they have to do is call and they are already gone. The wrestling community travels. All that I have spoken to have said it would be extremely easy to recruit kids that hate the weather in the north to our beautiful southern campuses for weather and the southern belles lol.

Lacrosse. Florida and Vandy already have women's D1 teams - Florida's is one of the best in the country. D1 teams all over have kids from Georgia, Tennessee and Texas. Kentucky, Arkansas and Louisiana have exponentially-growing youth programs. If you had a chance to watch the MNC game Memorial Day, you'd know it can be an entertaining sport to watch.

SEC needs to add Men's Soccer first.

I'm sick of the Europeans and South Americans claiming world dominance in this sport. We need to throw some SEC $ into developing players for the US National Team to go and kick their fricking teeth in the World Cups and Olympics.

Men's Lacrosse.

Atlanta is already one of the hotbeds nationally at the youth and professional levels for the sport and it's popular in FL, TN, TX, and AL at the high school level.

The SEC would compete with the ACC for ownership the sport in a decade if they add it as a varsity sport.

They could have the tournament every year at Kennesaw State's stadium.

What sorts of events would you guys like to see added to the SEC portfolio when it comes to maintaining our dominance in the collegiate sporting landscape?

this is going to be a cool thread on the new womens and mens sports out there this conference could easily capitalize on an dominate like we do softball (serioulsy, 90% of the programs didn't exist before 1997 and we are dominating the national scene). We could honestly be a sleeping giant in areas like wrestling, men's soccer, women's lacrosse and....

NASCAR and Bass Fishing

Uh I believe we have one of those?

We have a bass fishing team at Carolina. And men's soccer and women's beach volleyball which were both suggested.

Matter of fact, Carolina won the natty in bass fishing this year. No joke.

I don't think you grasp how developing soccer on an international level works.

Intriguing. Competitors could earn style points for brevity, consistency and overall length of the finished product. There would likely be no warmups but it would be common to acknowledge competitors as being full of shite.
