Hypothetical: Bama undefeated Nov. 5. LSU only has 2 SEC losses.

Saban gives a less than stellar coaching effort in a close loss in Death Valley. LSU players carry coach O off the field, players and fans demand he get the full time job. Bama goes on to win the SEC and make the playoffs.
Admin is so fricking happy to finally beat Nick, they give Coach O the job.
Saban isn't that diabolical. Right?

Here's a better one: LSU runs the table from here on out. Bama has one loss to LSU, but there is at least another one loss team and because LSU has two losses, the tie breaker math puts Bama in the SECCG, the CFP, and they win the national championship. Coach O gets the job. The melt ensues.

Saban doesnt give a rats arse who LSU's or any other teams HC is. He's faced the best
