If he were to transfer to Auburn, a much better fit scheme-wise than Gumpville, does JJ still start? Does Braxton ride the pine? Switch to RB? Two QB system?

JJ starts

We typically move former QBs to WR

If your aunt had balls, she'd be your uncle.

Well by rant logic anytime you bring in a new QB it means that everyone on your roster is the equivalent of a blackout drunk Keihl Frazier so I guess hypothetically Braxton would start

JJ would probably still start since he would actually know the system and has actually played at Auburn before

He'd probably play WR, possibly DB. Somewhere he could use his athleticism.

JJ would still start.
Realistically as a QB Braxton Miller might only be 3rd string at Auburn. Our current backup Sean White is a better passer and already knows the offense.

I love how every dipshit fan thinks you can just waltz in and play WR like there is nothing to it other than being "athletic".

Miller is just a better and more polished version of Nick Marshall, so I'm not sure how Johnson would beat him out when he couldn't beat out Marshall

QB to WR is one of the easiest transitions in football as long you're athletic enough. Guys who have played QB know how other QBs see the field and how other QBs want their WRs to play and where they want them. Guys like Braxton Miller start playing QB and are good at it in HS and college because they're the best athlete on the field. There's a reason why there is such a long list of successful WRs that used to play QB.

QB to WR is a common transition for athletic QBs

Kodi Burns actually turned out to be a pretty good WR for us

How about "No" to all of that. Nick Marshall finished 14th in the country in QBR last year. Jeremy Johnson finished second. The highest QBR that Miller has ever gotten was 81.3 in 2013. Nick finished this year at 85.2 QBR and last year he also finished better than Miller at 81.9 QBR.

Braxton Miller is overrated like every other OSU QB of the past 15 years.

possibly DB

I'm sorry but that is fricking stupid. He'd immediately be one of if not the most lethal play makers on the team and you think he should transition to DB and learn that position?

He's staying where he is. No hypothetical.

He caught 5 balls the first year and 11 balls the next. I am guessing didnt do anything in the NFL, am I wrong? Sounds more like a system guy. Probably ran end arounds and stuff? Im sure Braxton could play WR at a smaller school that is not as loaded with proven WRs like Bama. He would never see the field the first year at WR. I doubt he blocks too well, and im sure he doesnt know how to run clean routes.

Kodi was a very good blocker and people remember him more for his leadership than his playing ability. He didn't make it to the NFL and is coaching now.

I agree. If he were to come to Auburn and stayed at QB he would be in the same situation he is now. Sitting on the bench behind 2 better qbs.

It will be interesting to see if they find a way to get him on the field at Ohio State. I don't see Cardale losing the job. He does not run the read option like JT or Braxton but his arm stretches the field and opens up the running game to a degree that the other two don't approach.

Hell, he's probably 3rd string at OSU.
