I think that Freeze will do fine at Ole Miss and get them back winning. I for one want all teams in the SEC to be strong and winning till we play them. What you 're saying is that he is no Orgeron.

At Arkansas, Nutt was blessed with some really great in-state talent that came along at critical times, and it literally saved his arse. I'm talking about Matt Jones, Felix Jones, DMAC, Peyton Hillis, S. Andrews, etc.

I wish that would happen now. People often said that he could achieve "more" with "less" when in reality, he did the opposite.

Freeze WILL do "more with less".

This is true as well.

He hasn't faced the wrath of Merlins yet. Once that happens all the life will be sucked out of him and Merlins will only get stronger.

I, for one, am excited to have Freeze. I believe he's a true long term hire and will get the support needed to do a good job. With Bjork as AD, he's already starting ahead of the last 4 coaches.

Props to him today for not pulling any punches. He basically said, we're not very good, I'm not going to blame the previous staff but they kind of fricked things up, it's going to take time to come back, not everyone has bought in yet and frick you Steve Spurrier.

I didn't see his quotes but if this is what he said he just earned lots of respect.

Well that's a lot of paraphrasing. Except the frick Steve Spurrier part. He actually said that.

Sounded a lot like Mike Sherman.

Be ready to look for a new coach in 4 years.

More then half the new coaches at programs in a shitty state of affairs come out and talk about how things are going to turn around and that they have high expectations for success NOW.

No doubt. See Joker being excited about a team that will probably not win a game in conference.

He'll be good for us (maybe) but its going to take some time no doubt..long long ways away from being respectful again.

I'll say it every time a Freeze thread comes up. Dude is a winner, he's going to do well at Ole Miss.

I'd take him over a handful of coaches in the league.

Dooley, Joker, Muschamp.

In my 4 years against him, I have never lost to Hugh Freeze.
