Maybe not self righteous but Freeze was over the top. Rounded up players for church on Sunday mornings, religious music played during practices, he baptized several players, tweets only about Bible references, led team in prayers.

Moms loved him.

Would those mom's be single, and just trying to pay their college tuition? If so, I bet they did love him.

Bama's overly religious coach was Dubose. And between banging his secretary and the cheating, he was dirtier than Freeze's hookers

DuBose didn't become religious until after his affair with the secretary. In fact, many people believe the reason our 2000 season fell apart was because of how "soft" he became during the '99 season and into the off season leading up to that year.

They will not pull any big name coach until the NCAA comes down with their decision. They should probably hire Miles (reputation for running a clean program, has an amazing ability to recruit and puts players in the league), but in typical OM fashion they won't consider him for reasons that are unexplained and illogical (he was fired by LSU, so he's not good enough for them). If they are smart (they haven't proven to be in the last 40 years) they will push hard for Fedora. Blake Anderson should also get real consideration and would prove to be a tremendous hire, but the odds of either Fedora or Anderson getting hired aren't great because of their former ties to OM's perceived "little brother".

OM has a lot of resources and a fan base that is way more than willing to put up money to make them a major player in all sports. They just continue to make poor decisions with administration (biggest problem) and coaching hires.

Congrats to Nutt. Whether he wins any money from the lawsuit or not, he has clearly won the PR battle.

Literally people thinking of any big name hire are stupid. Nobody is going into that under all the sanctions coming. Ole miss will have to hire whoever will take the job, and there will not be many.

I'm sure someone has mentioned this.
And hopefully for Ole Miss it's not like this.

But it's just smells like HF is being set up for the entire fall.
If the calls weren't for him. Let's say he calls and in 1 minute he says I need 6 tomorrow night, good bye. ????

I don't know, I mean he always had that shifty aire about him. His wife ain't a dog by any means, so he has at least some game. Why does he need to pay an escort service for himself.

As far as the Christian talk, those who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones. And this isn't in direction of HF; it's for anyone now pointing at him for his faults because there are plenty everyday people who maybe big shots in their part of the world that have plenty of demons they don't want people to know and cover it with all the talk, and that doesn't mean they truly don't believe what they are saying ; they just have a hard time fighting those demons.

Exactly. Ole Miss wouldn't get a big name hire without all of this shite going on.

Houston nutt has always been a vindictive person. Ole miss shouldn't have fricked with him.

I agree with some of what you are saying, but it doesn't smell like a setup to me.

Agree on the glass houses deal. All of us sin or have done things we would not like to see in print in USA Today.

Where I have an issue with Freeze is not that he wore his faith on his sleeve and not even if he cheated in recruiting and lied about it not even the escort deal. What gets me is when Freeze was criticized too often he made the claim he was criticized and/investigated because of his faith. He claimed persecution in a holier than thou way. That's hard to take.

All the federalies say,
They could've had him any day.
They only let him go so long,
Out of kindness I suppose.
