Construction on the new arena will begin in the spring of 2014 with the goal to open the arena no later than January 2016, which would be in time for conference action.

CBS' Men of March series is on Donovan today as well at 1:30. Looks pretty good.

Thats cool, It's going to be sad to see the Tad Pad go away. Even though it was old and falling apart, It had the old gym feel that you rarely find anymore.

So it was the only game like it in Arkansas history and it will be replicated tonight?

can you read? Do they teach such subjects in the public school system in Missouri?

If so please break down this part of my post and tell me what it says.

What could happen in BWA today is something that the conference hasn't seen out of that arena in 20 years.

Complete embarrassment of a visiting team. I'm talking crying as they walk off the court in defeat embarrassment.

Last team to experience such defeat

Sold out arenas equal automatic wins. How did I forget that?

Exactly.

My point is that the atmosphere will be electric so I don't anticipate a let down by the Hogs today. If we were playing Georgia on the road, I would expect a let down and a double digit loss.

I'm just busting balls for the lame outburst after beating UK Thursday. You would've thought the Hogs knocked off the number one squad in the country. The fact of the matter is Kentucky could very well be unranked come tourney time and those wins aren't near as relevant as perceived.

Georgia is playing very well at the moment but expecting the Hogs to win pretty handily

Tbh that win was huge for them as it put them in the tournament, baring a complete collapse.

I totally agree. I wasn't one of the Hog fans that thought the win against UK was that big, but it did put us in the NCAA's for now. I do know this...our fan base is starving to be relevant in basketball again and it's nice to see excitement and a sell out at BWA against someone other than KY or FL.
