Uneducated post here.

Probably just a young poster who was not around for the actual history and bases their opinions on folks who wrote articles that were not there either. Sadly, this is becoming the norm and not the exception.

ps, you going to the LSU game this weekend?

We still have to play them twice, how about waiting on the trash talk?

Lulz. I think post is backfiring on the OP.

By they way, The Twins, Johnson. Alex, Willis, and Dominique come back with the upcoming recruiting class. Be careful what you think won't happen. Cal is going to have a bunch of upper classman next year.

Because it's fricking UMass and Memphis. You have to cheat to get players to come there.

I know it's Tiger High, but come on HJJ, Memphis usually has a good basketball team.

Uh... Lester admitted he lied

"I was pressured into telling them SOMETHING. I was 19 years old at that time. The NCAA intimidated me, manipulated me into making up things, and basically encouraged me to lie, in order to be able to finish my playing career at Kansas. They told me if we don't find any dirt on Coach Brown you won't be allowed to play but one more year at Kansas. I caused great harm, heartache and difficulties for so many people. I feel sorriest for hurting Coach Brown. Coach Brown, I apologize to you for tarnishing your magnificent career at LSU."

Bag man was strong at LSU. Please, don't sugar coat the cheating that went down with Dale.

LSU had sanctions with their basketball program more recently then UK. Welp

Billy Donovan is probably the most overrated coach in college basketball, in my opinion. When's the last time BD got a ring? When's the last time Cal did?

He has more rings than Izzo, Self and Boeheim.

I sincerely believe that Donovan is one of the very few coaches that could walk into any SEC school and turn them into a national power. Even Mississippi State.

He is that good.

Whoa. The Munster is damn good coach. If it was not Cal, I wanted the Munster on our sidelines.

That's kind of what I was trying to say. Heck, if I could choose one coach to come in and try to turn the sow's ear of a Georgia basketball program into a silk purse - it would be Donovan.

historically, UF basketball was a joke when Donnavon took over... cruger had some success, but it was still a middle of the road SEC program when BD got there.

what he's accomplished at florida is simply amazing... way more impressive than any other SEC coach of his era.

I am guessing they will continue to improve as a team as the season gets deeper. They will probably be pretty tough come March.

Kentucky ought to be ashamed of its program. I know the title "student athlete" is a bit stretched these days but come on man! Is it not true that a few years ago that five first year Kentucky players went straight to the NBA? Really? They should have been forced to repay their scholarship funds.
