Mizzou posters have been drinking the kool-aid all season. They just need to add the special ingredient- a shite load of benzos

Massive butthurt from lamecock fans on this board. Kills them that they don't control their own destiny and they know we choked away that game.

not really, we've controlled it the last two seasons only to choke it away. It's actually a lot less stressful where we are now

they know we choked away that game.

This. It's much more stressful for y'all to know we have the tiebreaker- especially with the remaining schedules. Hence the false bravado of some Mizzou posters to compensate

Really? We have the word cock in our name and that's the best you could come up with?

It's not false bravado I think. We are just so far beyond our expectations for the season that we don't care. We weren't sure we'd be bowl eligible. Competing for the division is icing.

A game we lead by 17 in the fourth quarter? A game we gave up a 4th and 15 miracle to extend it to two OT? A game we missed a 24 yard field goal to end? Not to mention the 5 or so chances we had to end it in the 4th quarter.
Not sure "how" we did it. (Trust me, it haunts me) but we did.

Miracle? Have you heard our coaches talk about that play? They knew Mizzou had a tendency to do that coverage in 3rd downs and we exploited it. That wasn't miracle, that was us out coaching and out playing you.

No argument here, but it was still a miracle. How we didn't call a TO and draw something up on that play is mind boggling. GP pissed down his leg on that one.

How long will we have to see these USCjr posts about Mizzou and their assumed pending downfall? Your infatuation is not healthy and make you seem deaperate.
Listen, its college football. Occasionally good teams lose to an inferior opponent... but you didnt see Tennessee fans posting 3 weeks of "ha ha, usc sucks" threads. Time to move on...

Bad coaching is part of the game = / = a miracle. A miracle would have been if a defender had an easy INT but somehow it slipped through his hands and ended up in one of our WRs. However you're defender not being within 10 yards of our WR because of our superior play calling is not a miracle.

Trust me, if SC had taken 3 straight beatdowns following the Mizzou game we wouldn't be talking. And besides, you'll see plenty of UT fans reference their win over SC in the off-season. You'll see.

4th and goal from the 15 is a miracle. It was more a miracle Pinkel forgot he was coaching a football game for that play. We call time out and play a legitimate defense for the situation and you convert that 1-50 times.
Look man. Y'all won, and I'm really not interested in these flame fests. I just don't get the constant barrage from Cock fans.

I think the better question is how unbearable will the Rant be for everyone else if UGA wins. If you think it's bad now, just wait until UGA wins.

Check out the time stamp on this thread started this evening. It was either the 3rd or 4th thread started by a Yankee Tiger fan in the past 24 hours about USC. Cocks woke up again today, and CoMo wasn't on our minds at all, but we've stayed in the heads of a lot of Mizzou posters.

Fair enough, but that's one poster who has two troll threads on the front page as we speak. About basketball of all things!

quote:Probably true. Really, its mostly two posters who just seem to be Mizzou obsessed. We definitely have the tougher road to close out the season and I get, after last season, that nobody really wants to buy into the fact we can win until we've done it. Heck, we are the Show Me state, we should understand as good as anyone. I'll take controlling my own destiny though over hoping someone else screws up. This team has heard all year what they cant do and they just keep doing it. If they slip up, so be it. Great season either way.
