All I see in your backfield is CAP, which is an embarrassing excuse for a running back. How do you plan to move the ball when our front seven shut down your meager ground game?

This is, IMO, the turning factor in the game. State is just too much bigger, faster, nastier, and deeper on both lines. I'm sure Gus will pull out a little magic to try and keep it close, but in the end his tricks aren't going to pull it out. You don't get miracles when you're playing God's team.

Any way AU wants. Particularly on that 129th passing defense. Next question.

The only way State gets beat, is if they beat themselves. (Borrowed that from a Bama friend).

Oh woe is us....we've never faced a team with a good defense before. Whatever shall we do?

If Auburn wins, I hope you can take it as well as you can dish it out.

I'm glad you asked.

Sammie Coates, Dhaquille Williams, Quan Bray, Melvin Ray, and Ricardo Louis will be happy to answer your question this weekend.

Even if MSU magically became the first team to ever stop us from running the ball under Malzahn, we need have no problem moving it through the air against the 129th pass defense

Mississippi State has given up far more big passing plays than any other SEC team. After we burn you a few times deep with Coates and Duke, the running game will get going nicely.

Well.

Auburn will do what Auburn does. Gus will wear down State's D and pull away late. This is not last years O in the fact that it will rush for 400 yards. It is much more balanced, but it is just as dangerous. Add in the fact the our D is so much better..........sorry for your loss.

Maybe the better question is, how, after 2 championship appearances in 3 years, did you not recruit a decent running back? Or a QB, this offense is fueled by hopes, dreams, and Gus.
