Schedule the game for Monday night and if it can't be played because of collateral damage, postpone or cancel it then. That would be 30 hours later. LSU could do a fly in and fly out. The stadium could be empty.

The game is played if Gainesville is not severely affected.

All day long today, Florida fans told us here that Gainesville would be fine in Saturday morning. Now, we can't even schedule a game for Monday night?

A bunch of liars. Flat out.

I've never seen a more pathetic group of people affiliated with a more pathetic university.

Just play the game. Plan it for Monday. If everything is destroyed, cancel on Saturday. Still plenty of time. Florida's AD - who INSISTED THAT THE GAME BE PLAYED IN GAINESVILLE - said NO. And the SEC backed him up. And then tries to pin it on LSU.

Like I said. A bunch of liars.

You can't make this stuff up.

Florida is a fantastic university one of the best in SEC.
I don't blame their fans for this. They've got bigger problems on the horizon.

Florida is a great university. Yes.

Their administration behave in a pathetic nature. That reflects on the whole U. Of Florida community.

What's pathetic is you still posting about this in such an outraged manner. Jesus Christ all you did today was act like an angry little child.

Florida clearly wanted no part of LSU

NO REASON to try and hold on to a home game when your state is under emergency

Should have worked to play elsewhere but they don't need this game and most likely would lose

I was calling out UF fans on their garbage today of saying Gainesville would be fine on Saturday morning and LSU was scared to go there and all that. It was ridiculous. Then, the game gets canceled and suddenly, LSU is to blame?

Yeah, that is a mess. Everything I said today was right and is exactly what happened.

Jesus wept. Then He realized the depth of LSU dumbassery, and wept yet again. Having over-estimated LSU fans, Jesus went on a walkabout.

He walked upon a dirt road and met Beudreaux, fresh from a possum hunt.

"Beaudreaux, sayeth the Lord, wherefore hath you been, and why do you lament?"

Beaudreaux, smitten, lays down and says "LAWD, I'm wondering why you layed down a hurricane to stop our only chance at the SEC title!

The Lord smiled upon Beaudreaux and said "My son. Dost thou thinkest a victory over Bama was in thine future?" The Lord then smiled, and pointed to the clouds.

You really think I give a shite about being included in your embarrassing meltdown? I can assure you I don't. You have lost all touch with reality if you seriously think Florida fans had a single thing to do with the decision to play, move, reschedule, etc... etc... etc... anything other than their own hotel reservations. They had frick all to do with the game decision.

The truth is the phone calls from Gator fans to their own school likely were overwhelmingly against trying to play the game in Gainesville on Saturday. They have fans in all directions from Gainesville including the East coast of Florida.

Read your post again. Blaming Florida fans because a handful of Rant posters have rattled the frick out of you makes Z E R O sense. I have been on this board for 5 years and yesterday/today has been a complete embarrassment for some of you... too many of you.

Good god. Step away from the keyboard.

You are so delusional it's not even worth responding. Continue thinking the master plan was to avoid a loss to lsu and backdoor into the east title. UF admin handled the situation poorly but this conspiracy theory you are championing makes lsu fans seem like pompous blowhards. Good day sir

Blaming Florida fans?

No.

I don't think that Florida fans on the SEC Rant have a thing to do with it.

I think that Florida's athletic department made the only decision they could today because they had no contingency plan to play the game because the idea of it being cancelled didn't bother them that much. McElwain said Tuesday that the only place this game would be played would be in Gainesville. Period. And, they held out on that until it was too late.

That is one of the dumbest moves I've seen an athletic dept make, unless they didn't actually want to play the game - which seems obvious now.

Why not push it to Sunday or Monday now and then cancel tomorrow afternoon if you have to? There is no reason not to have a contingency plan.

Your post is ridiculous.
