No, they aren't.

Like I said, your D is ok. Can probably keep us in the low 20s but you'll struggle to score double digits.

The only team you've played with a decent defense blanked you

You just one your first real game in two years.

Slow down kid, baby steps.

You guys won't beat us. We are just better. Probably another moral victory.

How are they going to be so much better if they don't have a better QB to replace Allen and loose some of their best players on D next year?

Allen's backup is his brother Austin who is a year younger, and there's no way he's going to win the job over Brandon. Redshirting is Rafe Peavey, who was one of the top rated dual threats in the country coming out of high school last year. I have nothing but speculation to back this up, but I have wondered if Peavey is perhaps just as good as Brandon Allen, of not maybe a little bit better. But Bielema, knowing he was really still a year off from competing for anything that matters, chose to redshirt him, no matter what, so that he could have his full eligibility beginning with Bielema's third recruiting class.

Figuring B. Allen was at least serviceable, he could ride him and get bowl eligible and show improvement in Year 2. Then, bring Peavey in in the spring and let him take over.

Orrrrrr....perhaps there's nobody on campus who can beat him out for the job, and that's just the way it is.

combined Alabama and Lsu had 100 yards rushing against our defense.

The job our defensive staff has done this year is simple amazing.
