After Texas A&M hired Nebraska's athletic director, the two teams are playing in both the men's and women's teams. I mean, they could get away with one, but both?

We just need to win. NCAA is going away soon.

It is just a discussion point. They do these things to drum up interest

Yes, games with attached storylines sell tickets and gain bigger audiences.
Just look at the howling from Vol fans when they were placed in a possible 2nd round matchup with Barnes old school. If you place 7 seed Dayton or Washington State there, it just isn't as interesting.

It's not the first time the NCAA has manipulated tournament matchups specifically involving A&M and t.u.
I could 5 times in baseball and 2 times in basketball just in the last 10 years.

Yet they didn't place 7-seed t.u. in a position to face Marquette (coached by Shaka Smart). I wonder why...

The pool of people who are going to watch a TAMU/Nebraska basketball game is the same size regardless of where Trev Alberts works.

It's not about where he works, it's about where he works and where he worked previously.

Nobody is changing their watching habits because Trev Alberts changed jobs.
TAMU fans have a giant persecution complex and will find a way to claim the NCAA/SEC/ESPN/etc. has it out for them, no matter what.
