I was talking football with a business associate who is an LSU alum and he worked in the AD during part of Saban's tenure there. Guy mentioned that Saban couldn't be over 5'4-5'5.

Is that true?

I'm 5'7 and stood next to him on Pat Dye Field in 2007 purposefully wanting to measure my own height against his. We were about dead even, but I didn't look to see if his shoes gave any lift to him. I was wearing really flat shoes.

This. He's probably about 5'8. I've seen him on campus while he was at LSU.

He's not tall, but he's not that short either. People use photos from odd perspectives to prove he's short.

Look how short these people are.

I'd guess 5'6" or 5'7". Stood next to him a few times in Baton Rouge.

Definitely in his playing days.

He's getting that old man shrinkage now.

Not that I would know, but he's probably spending too much time in the whirlpool if that's the case.

I'm not sure but I hear Disney won't let him on a couple of rides.
