Just for reference Ole Miss is accused of committing 15 Level 1 violations by the NCAA, USC committed the most ever before this and their punishment was a 2 year bowl ban and the loss of 30 scholarships over 3 years.

I feel Ole Miss will be worse.

The loss of 40 scholarships over 4 years, 2 year bowl ban, and if he doesn't resign I feel that Freeze will end up being fired by the University President.

The NCAA will never give the death penalty again.

I think two year bowl ban is about right and I would have to look at it more closely to pick a number on the scholarships lost.

I predicted the below back in June 2016.

16 scholarship reduction in FB over 3 years (6 in year one, 5 each of next 2 years)
5 years probation
2 year bowl ban
3 year show cause for certain to be named members of OM staff (football ops, Ath Dept, coaching)

I was promptly informed by Ole Miss fans that was a pipe dream and would never happen. I assumed at the time they thought I was predicting penalties too harsh, but after 21 violations maybe they meant my prediction was too lenient.

USC got 30 scholarships over 3 years for FAR less and fewer penalties.

I don't think NCAA plans to cut people's balls off like that any more.

That said, my prediction of 16 schollies was before the 2nd NOA. I'd say they'll likely lose 21-24.

I hope the NCAA kicks them out and make them join the NAIA.
