i will enjoy watching LSU making desparate job offers to Dabo, a coach their fans mocked prior to and after the bowl game a few years ago. lol
LSU has now bent the knee to Dabo.

Its on the tiger rant you can go and look for it if you want, but you can't tell me that you haven't seen a few LSU posters on here say they would rather have Miles than Saban, was it a ridiculous thought: without a doubt, but there's no doubt that some of your fellow posters believed this though.

Yeah and I'm sure there a select few fans that have wanted Saban fired after a loss. There are idiots in every fanbase. However, those people do not speak for the fan base

3 days ago they were generally content with Miles.
Why does everybody here keep saying this?
Where are these legions of fans that were confident in him?

U guys really have no feel for LSU fans. Miles has never had more than 75% of fan support at LSU ever. It's wierd but a big chuck of fans never liked him (pro saban group) and since saban or his agent keep flirting with coming back to LSU his first few years at bama that group never came on board.
He was almost no support among TAF, major boosters, local media, former players, sports media, etc. My brother ( former player) was in Green Bay with large group of boosters, coaches, etc and he said people literally wanted to drag us arse off the field at half time they were so pissed. (This is not red neck fans but guys but includes guys with their own pilots and planes.) The word I heard over and over again was "embarrassed" I don't know how many wealthy powerful people u know but they probably would rather be indicted or something than embarrassed. I have no clue about the administration.
This whole thing is really sad for all involved. Take Jacksonville and the points for as much as u can. Easiest money all year

The miles train is out of gas. It is just a question of when it falls off the track. And he doesn't have that POS Jindal to save his arse this time

I actually think the LSU fans went above and beyond last year with respect to supporting their coach. The admin had turned on him and they were ready to pull the trigger and the fans marched in his support. He promised change and did nothing as far as we could tell in game 1. I think Miles has to win the west and make the playoffs to save his job. The fans have been more than patient for the most part!

There have always been those who hate Miles, those on the fence and those that like him. I'd say 20% always hated him, 65% sway with the success of the team and 15% have always fully backed him.
There's been an excuse for Miles' fans, myself among them, to use every year since 2011. That's kept that 65% on the fence from ever fully turning on him. However, here was no excuse last year and some of that 65% moved to the "hate" side. The rest of us took a wait and see approach. After Saturday, I'd say he's lost almost all of that 65%.
He's on very, very thin ice right now.

OK, I accept your answer. The entire LSU fanbase has hated Les Miles for a long time and have been wanting him fired and run out of town all last year and now, regardless of who was is or will be the replacement.
Good luck with your head coach search.

The support many of us had for him scoop was not be fired the way he was fired. ( reading it on Twitter) He is a good man and was a great coach for us for many years and has put things like a crystal ball and sec championship trophy in the case for us to remember him by. But like many coaches he has been unable to adapt to the times and the game has passed him by. He deserved a dignified ending and to be frank being carried off the field to a standing ovation was about as good as u r ever going to get. This was not support for Miles staying it was support for the work he had done during his tenor. (Ask people that were there) Jimbo was pissed at Florida state and was already hired.
Then enter Louisiana politics. could frick up getting laid with 100 bill in a whorehouse. And frick u jindal and Alexander
