How much improved is Tennessee's defense this year?

I saw a badass lockdown defense in the redzone last Saturday against South Alabama.

You must be out of yo damn mind, son.

Florida and South Alabama both scored the same amount so it must be pretty good..right?

Zero pass rush from DE, DT Maurice Couch is out so we have like 1 legit DT and no depth. 1 serviceable LB Johnson is slow, and all our DB are extremely slow. Dooley did a piss poor job on recruiting defensive side of the ball.

Not to mention shitty tackling and poor angles.

So do you see the same defense you guys ran out last year or has there at least been improvement?

I wonder how good UT would be if they had kept the juniors last year that went pro. The defense would still kill em but it would be a much better team if not for the losses to the NFL.

Couldn't be worse than last year, so I suppose it is improved.
