Does A&M's "triple double" from 2009-2011 count?

Why is that a better question (other than it fitting your agenda)

LSU baseball in the 90's is greater than any Arky track accomplishment

Because the original question was loaded to start with. If the OP decides on what a dynasty constitutes then why not do it for sports people actually watch

Yep. I'm more interested in football, basketball, and baseball than any other sport.

I put track behind women's basketball, volleyball, softball, tennis, swimming and diving, golf, and even gymnastics... and I ran track long ago.

This was ultimately an attempt to put Arkansas at the upper tier of SEC programs while flaming Alabama at the same time. I know, I am captain obvious.

I'm just tired of teams that dominate in one of the big three say those are the only ones that count. If the others don't matter then why have them at all.

Title IX is a part of it.

Are you really a Louisville fan? If so, don't be sad that your commuter school sucks and can't sustain success in anything.

Fair statement, but truth be told, maybe 1 out of a thousand actually are knowledgeable about the smaller sports. I don't mind the discussions, but when someone starts defining Dynasties off of their opinion then how about let's even the playing field

So you want me to type the exact same information that I could C&P? I'd rather not.

You don't know how much I AGREE. Worst decision of my life, and I've made some epicly bad decisions. This thread being one of them.

Hey I can admit and admire when a team has a run of some really good years, but it's a team and the rosters have ebb and flow, that's why I want to see a cycle of at least more than two 4 year groupings to call a program a dynasty. A true dynasty to me is a program that sets the bar, is the big dog everyone guns for and models their programs after and can weather any adversity and just keep winning, have a coach/leader that can adjust and adapt to the competitive environments and just keep winning, and winning, and winning.

Bama, Florida, Tennessee, UGA, LSU, and even Arkansas in the 60'-70's have had some really nice runs. I'd come close to awarding Bama and Bear Bryant Dynasty status if it wasn't for all the bogus titles they claim. If you can't be honest about what you've won, you sure can't be honest about what you've lost and just running a program in general. Bama football is almost a farce upon itself.

We don't hang a banner for our Helm's Trophy like other schools that I wont mention.
