there were two scoring drives that would have ended with nick marshall eating dirt had garrett not been tackled. If we didn't win there would have been a melt of epic proportions.

I saw 1-2 for sure missed holding calls. Probably about the same as I notice for AU opponents every game.

Posting the same hold 50 different times doesn't mean we got away with 50 holds.

There were several times I thought the police should have been called on 72...2 assaults and a mugging. I honestly think it was similar to a failed suicide attempt. dude was begging to be benched and they just wouldnt give him any mercy. we had no answer.

This is my point.

To make the NCAA game higher-scoring and more-exciting, the league has obviously issued some sort of unofficial edict to allow a little bit of holding on passing plays.

But there is a significant difference between a bit of innocuous holding between friends and the constant tackle-raping that Garrett had to endure.

And Garrett still owned the guy.
