Pretty sure some 6 Man HS teams could beat us this year. We're terrible.

twenty lashes for not knowing everything about our beloved state!

also, you missed that the Southwestern Pirates (also D3) just started their football program back up.

They would totally beat A&M too.

I'm not sure there's a team in Texas that would keep it within two TDs this year.

Tech will be pretty bad, Texas and TCU have both been MUCH better in recent years and of course teams like Rice, UTEP, SMU, etc. aren't even worth discussing.

Maybe Baylor? Their offense would give us some trouble, but we'd drop 60+ on that woeful defense.

Roger, are you trying to make this a real discussion?

Texas, TCU, Baylor would all have a chance, same as they would against any other team in the country.

I have very little to no respect for Baylor, so either Texas or TCU.

2012 Oklahoma was better than all three (because they beat all three, two very easily) and we thumped them by four touchdowns.

So no, I don't believe any of those teams would have much of a chance against us, or any other elite SEC team for that matter.

I think only TCU and Baylor could beat the Texas A&M little longhorns this season.

Of course if thug JFF is out for the year the list will grow.

Oklahoma was blown out at home by weak arse Notre Dame at the end of the season.

Yeah, OU was a power house last year.

Aggie still in 2012, we are 2 days from kickoff, move along.

We're talking about who could beat A&M in 2013, with their 2013 teams. Texas, I believe, has gotten better than last year. TCU's starting QB is back. I'm not saying they'd walk out of Kyle Field easily, or that they would win, but rather that they would have a chance against A&M, or any other team in the country.

But somehow we've gotten worse? Who did we lose to that makes you think Texas would keep it close? They almost lost to Kansas.

They beat Texas Tech by 21, Texas by 42, Baylor by 14 and TCU by 7. They finished with a better record than all of them. We beat Oklahoma by 28, and people want to argue that tech, Baylor, TCU or Texas would beat us?

Go for it

You're wrong, sorry. A&M, LSU, Bama, Georgia, Florida and USC would all thump every non-SEC Texas team.
