It is hysterical that you guys have created this narrative in your heads that we are terrible at everything but football while the rest of you are shining beacons of vast athletic achievement.
Whatever you have to do to keep yourselves going, I guess. It's just strange.
Especially coming from L5U fans. Bama has a dominant series lead head to head vs them in all 3 major mens sports. But it is Bama that's irrelevant in all but football. Seems more like L5U is irrelevant 12 months of the year these days.

Arkansas Tech used to be called Arkansas Polytechnical University until WW2 or so.

Georgia used to have one, Southern Polytechnic Institute, but it has sense been absorbed into Kennesaw State. And of course, Georgia Institute of Technology, though technically not a Poly.
Florida just opened Florida Polytechnic in 2012. Some have probably seen the first building on a trip to Disney.

Gumps are irrelevant 8 months out of the year, and use that time to post dumb shite, constantly.

Tennessee Tech began at Tennessee Polytechnic Institute in 1915.

FYI
1856 - East Alabama Male College
1872 - Agricultural and Mechanical College of Alabama
1899 - Alabama Polytechnic Institute
1960 - Auburn University
Except through all those years and names, the college was always referred to as "Auburn" anyway.

You sure, too lazy to look it up. Most schools with Tech were shortened from Polytechnic in their early history. Virginia Tech was originally VPI or Virginia Polytechnic Institute.

you've won 54% of the baseball games played between the two in a series that encompasses 366 games. I wouldn't call that dominant. Want to compare SEC Titles, SECT titles, CWSappearances and CWS Titles? Didn't think so
You've won 59% of the games in the basketball series in 175 contests. I wouldn't call that dominant exactly, but whatever. You want to compare SEC Titles or NCAAT success? Didn't think so on that either.
Y'all aren't terrible at everything, but you're not the best in anything else other than mens golf as of late and I guess maybe gymnastics, although LSU won the national title in golf last year. Honestly, Alabama is pretty average in most other sports outside football over the past 20 years.

I thought we eliminated polio decades ago.

We've been pretty elite in gymnastics and softball the last 10 years and nationally very good/elite in both golfs over that period as well.
Basketball and baseball have been roller coasters varying between very average and very good, but more on the average end the last 5-10 years.

which is why I said most other sports. I mentioned golf and gymnastics as being sports y'all excel in. Sorry I missed softball. But there are a lot of other sports the SEC plays. Alabama used to field very good baseball teams year in and year out, and that went away when Jim Wells left. Alabama basketball has definitely been a roller coaster.

Yep - and most were average to below average up until 5-10 years ago (and some still are).

not sure what that has to do with anything. LSU has been among the elites in mens and womens track, gymnastics, softball, baseball, football, golf recently, and womens basketball until the last couple years. mens basketball has been up and down for quite awhile. they'll have sec titles and follow it up by missing the ncaa tournament altogether.
