At 6 foot 4 and 290, I'm not much smaller than those D linemen. If I don't lose a knee I'll be alright. But I'm not getting more than 3 yards no matter how big the hole.

Geez man, thats not healthy.

Also, those guys move fast for their speed and you probably don't. Their momentum and strength would still hurt you.

I sucked at RB is HS. I am more QB WR type.

I loved playing CB and safety tho.

The real question is do we have a month of practice or are we going in this Saturday?

I know I would be lucky to gain any yards, but I feel like with a month of practice I could take a good number of snaps.

Just get the stretcher ready. I'd say about 8-10 before I get sawed in half

Even when I was 22'ish, I still think 8-10 snaps before I met certain death.

I'm built kinda brawny and am in good shape, so I don't think I'd fare too badly. Don't think I'd be breaking off any 20+ yard gains, but I'd hang around for at least a half/3 quarters.

Question is, can they survive hits from me?

Since I'll be 80 in a couple of weeks, I think I will sit this one out.
