Bama, LSU, Auburn and Missouri. I have a hard time seeing any other SEC team going undefeated though. Georgia was riddled with injuries, South Carolina is always very erratic and lost to a horrible Tennessee team and Texas A&M has no defense. They all would have dropped at least one even with that cupcake schedule.

A SOS outside the top 50 should eliminate teams from playing in a championship game. I believe FSU is a great team but they essentially had 7 or 8 scrimmage games. Their OOC slate was absolutely pathetic outside of UF. Give credit there nobody would have guessed they'd be so bad, but a team like FSU should set the bar for OOC play.

Alabama this year:

1) Colorado State
2) Georgia State
3) Kentucky
4) Arkansas
5) Tennessee
6) Mississippi St
7) Chattanooga

says the pot to the kettle. The only SEC team that played a strong ooc schedule this year was Florida

They do seem to have that irritating trait, don't they?

Clemson would have been tough game 50-50 for SEC elite teams. Fla. State destroyed them and just about everyone else. They "managed" the 1 game that was semi-competitive very well. USCe, Ole Miss, Miss State, ATM, ALA, LSU, AUB, and GA.: 8 teams with chance. SEC West rocks!

Their schedule sucked, but I think they are better than most seem to think. I think they beat Auburn by 10 points.

We lost to Clemson so no. Probably could have beaten the rest.

South Carolina played Clemson and UNC, those are two pretty good OOC games. UGA also played Clemson and Georgia Tech, those aren't bad OOC games either.

Not so sure about A&M. They didn't beat a top 25 team this year and FSU's schedule had 4 on it. All wins were over unranked teams.

The other two opponents were 11-1 UCF (on the road)and 11-1 Coastal Carolina.

Not that Coastal was a tough opponent -- they weren't -- but if you're gonna play an FCS school, the Chants are one of the tougher one. Better record than Georgia Southern.

Alabama would have called off the dogs or played a simple game versus the cupcakes. Nick Saban doesn't want to embarrass his opponents. The Tide doesn't run up the score.

Do you realize that in like 7 or 8 of their games, FSU was up 28-0 or more after the 1st Quarter?

That's the sad part. These poor teams were doneski before they even had three offensive possessions.

uhh, no FSU did not have 4 top 25 teams on their schedule. If you go by at the time they played sure but they finished the year with only Clemson and Duke as ranked opponents.

Also, Duke won't be in the top 25 after A&M drops them.

I think FSU is probably the best team this year however their schedule was very weak. Clemson is really the only solid team in the ACC. After that maybe Virginia Tech or Miami but neither are Top25 caliber to my mind.

I assume the many posters always berating Alabama's SOS regardless of impressive victories are really flipping out to see FSU in the championship game this year.
