The Jason Aldean song seems to be popular among rural people and it made me how many on here will be playing it at their tailgates and if you think your team will play it.

I'm not saying this is an SEC thing because I'm sure Big 12 schools like West Virginia and BYU will be playing it too.

He is a country and Western musician. He has a song that is anti-free speech and minorities, or at least that is my understanding of the song.

But don't the kids who live in rural places also live with their parents?

You are an idiot.

If he had his pants halfway down his arse, an IQ of 70, and was singing about bitches, hoes, killing cops or White people. You would be calling him a genius.

The song is anti-thug piece of shite. If that happens to match the BLM domestic terrorists who rioted, burned, and murdered as an excuse to steal Nikes and flat screens. Tough chittlins’.

They wear their headphones. Btw, just outside your shithole of a city is about as rural and redneck as it gets…you live in what amounts to Northern Kentucky…

You cannot judge a culture on a few.

BLM aren't terrorists. And they didn't do the things you are accusing them of. Most of the damage was done by white nationalists pretending to be rioters. Antifa also played a role into it.

I have mixed feelings I am no Aldean fan- could possibly be the ed hardy meets country with bedazzled butt jeans look that turns me off. And I haven’t seen the video (btw who actually watches videos anymore?) but I have heard the song and didn’t hear anything I thought was bad. Granted, I haven’t paid enough attention to really know what all is said in the song. In summary, I don’t like the way he dresses and that’s pretty much all my opinion.

EVery car I've heard playing this song had Kentucky license plates which isn't a surprise because this sounds like something someone from Kentucky would listen to.

He may be a prick but....If you think Mellencamp is racist your an idiot! Spend the rest of the night finding something Mellencamp said racist.
Saw him in concert in Murfreesboro, Tn in the 80's. Outstanding!

As a minority, this is one of the most brain dead comments I've ever read. The dumbing down of America via the propaganda machine is in over drive
